Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 Edge is better than Xiaomi Mi 5, with an 85.7 score against 73.7. Galaxy S6 Edge has a little faster CPU than Xiaomi Mi 5, and although they both have 3 GB of RAM memory, the Galaxy S6 Edge also has a 64-bits processor, a higher number of cores (although they are slower) and a much better graphics processor working at 650 MHz.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Mi 5, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a little higher pixel amount per inch of screen. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a very superior storage for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 5, because it has 128 GB internal memory.
The Galaxy S6 Edge has just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi 5, although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for low-light images and videos, they both have a back facing camera with a 16 mega-pixels. Xiaomi Mi 5 has a much longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 3600mAh battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge costs a lot more than Xiaomi Mi 5, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
