Comparison review
The Galaxy S8 Active has a global score of 81.9, which is better than the Xiaomi Mi 5's overall score of 73.7. The Xiaomi Mi 5 has just a bit better display than Galaxy S8 Active, although it has a just a bit worse screen density, a little smaller display and a little bit worse 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution.
Xiaomi Mi 5 has just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a lower number of cores and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. Galaxy S8 Active counts with a much bigger memory to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 5, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy S8 Active also has an external memory card slot that admits up to 256 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active features a better camera than Xiaomi Mi 5, because although it has a lot less megapixels back facing camera, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture. Galaxy S8 Active has a bit better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 5, because it has an 11 percent larger battery size.
