Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a global score of 80.1, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 5's general score of 73.7. The Xiaomi Mi 5 features a slightly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a little inferior pixels amount in each inch in the display, and they both have the same resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, the Xiaomi Mi 5 also counts with a bit bigger screen.
Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a way bigger storage to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 5, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy XCover FieldPro also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 512 GB. Xiaomi Mi 5 has a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has an inferior number of 2700 MHz cores and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics processor.
Xiaomi Mi 5 shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, it also counts with a much more mega pixels back camera. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro features superior battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 5, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Mi 5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Mi 5. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xiaomi Mi 5, letting go some specifications.
