The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 5, with a general score of 77.5 against 73.7. The Xiaomi Mi 5 has just a little better processing power than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and lesser CPU cores (although they are faster), it also counts with a graphics processing unit.
Xiaomi Mi 5 features a way better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher pixel density and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440px. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a much greater storage capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 5, because it has an external SD slot that holds up to 128 GB and more internal storage.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a really longer battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 5, because it has a 5300mAh battery capacity against 3600mAh. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 takes better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5, although it has a back-facing camera with a lot lower 12 mega pixels resolution and a smaller camera aperture.
