Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 5 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, having a score of 81 against 78.1. Sony Xperia 5's body is way newer and just a little bit lighter, but also a little thicker than the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus. The Xperia 5 has a bit better CPU than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have 6 GB of RAM, the Xperia 5 also has a larger number of faster cores.
Xperia 5 and Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus count with really similar screens, although the Xperia 5 also has a bit bigger screen, a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2520 pixels and a quite greater pixels count per inch in the screen. The Xperia 5 features a superior storage capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Xperia 5 also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 512 GB.
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has improved battery life than Xperia 5, because it has a 3800mAh battery size against 3140mAh. Sony Xperia 5 shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a back-facing camera with a lower 12 MP resolution, it also counts with a bigger sensor taking better quality photographs and videos and a bigger camera aperture.
