The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, with a 77.4 score against 76.4. Both of these phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has a much longer battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity. Xiaomi Mi 5s shoots a bit better photos and videos than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same video resolution, a 12 MP camera in the back and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Xiaomi Mi 5s also counts with a way larger sensor.
