Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 5s is just a bit better than the Huawei Mate 20 lite, getting a 76.4 score against 76.2. These phones come with Android operating system, but Xiaomi Mi 5s has the older 6.0 Marshmallow version and Huawei Mate 20 lite has Android 8.1 Oreo version. Xiaomi Mi 5s's design is somewhat lighter than the Huawei Mate 20 lite, but it is just a little bit thicker and was released 2 years before.
The Huawei Mate 20 lite has a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Huawei Mate 20 lite also has a larger number of cores (but slower). Xiaomi Mi 5s counts with a bit more vivid screen than Huawei Mate 20 lite, because although it has a bit smaller screen and a bit lower 1080 x 1920 resolution, it also counts with a bit more pixels per display inch.
The Huawei Mate 20 lite has a camera that is very similar to the Xiaomi Mi 5s one, and although the Huawei Mate 20 lite has a way more mega-pixels camera in the back, a larger diafragm aperture and higher 60 fps video frame rates, they both have the same (Full HD) video quality. The Huawei Mate 20 lite features a greater storage to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
Huawei Mate 20 lite has just a bit longer battery life than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 3750mAh battery capacity instead of 3200mAh.
