Huawei Mate X2 has a global score of 89.1, which is better than Xiaomi Mi 5s's 76.4 global score. Both of these phones use Android OS, but Huawei Mate X2 has 10 version while Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Huawei Mate X2 construction has the same thickness than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, but it is much heavier.
Huawei Mate X2 counts with a little better performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a higher amount of RAM and 4 more cores. Xiaomi Mi 5s has a little bit better screen than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a way smaller display and a way worse resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, it also counts with a just a bit greater amount of pixels in each screen inch.
Huawei Mate X2 takes better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Huawei Mate X2 also has a way higher resolution back facing camera and a larger aperture to capture better images in low light environments.
Huawei Mate X2 has a much better memory to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity. The Huawei Mate X2 features a way better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Mi 5s. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Huawei Mate X2, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Mi 5s, resigning some features and specifications.
