Huawei nova 5T is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi 5s, with an 80.8 score against 76.4. Although the Huawei nova 5T is heavier than Xiaomi Mi 5s, it's just a little bit thinner and much newer. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android OS, but the Huawei nova 5T has the older 10 version and Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
Xiaomi Mi 5s has a slightly better looking screen than Huawei nova 5T, because although it has a bit smaller screen and a little lower resolution of 1080 x 1920px, it also counts with a little better number of pixels per screen inch. Xiaomi Mi 5s and Huawei nova 5T count with really similar memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos, they have equal internal storage capacity.
The Huawei nova 5T has a bit faster CPU than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a greater amount of RAM and a higher number of cores. Huawei nova 5T has just a little bit longer battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has 3750mAh of battery capacity against 3200mAh. The Huawei nova 5T captures much better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Huawei nova 5T also has a larger diafragm aperture to capture better photography and video in low-light environments, a bigger back camera sensor and a much more megapixels camera.
The Huawei nova 5T is more expensive than Xiaomi Mi 5s, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
