Comparison review
Huawei Nova 9 has a general score of 81, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s's global score of 76.4. The Huawei Nova 9 construction is way newer and just a little bit thinner, but also heavier than Xiaomi Mi 5s. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but the Huawei Nova 9 has the previous 11 version while Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s has a little sharper display than Huawei Nova 9, because although it has a really smaller screen and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 1920, it also counts with a just a bit higher pixels density. Huawei Nova 9 counts with a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a larger number of cores and more RAM memory.
The Huawei Nova 9 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Huawei Nova 9 also has a camera with a lot better 50 megapixels resolution and a bigger camera aperture.
