The Huawei P30 has a general score of 81.7, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s's 76.4 score. Both devices in this review have Android OS, but Huawei P30 has the previous 10 version and Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Huawei P30 is a way newer and just a little bit thinner phone than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, but it is somewhat heavier.
Xiaomi Mi 5s counts with a slightly better looking display than Huawei P30, because although it has a quite smaller display and a bit worse 1080 x 1920 resolution, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch of display. Huawei P30 features a bit better CPU than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has 2 GB more RAM memory and 4 more CPU cores.
The Huawei P30 features a much better camera than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rates, the Huawei P30 also has a larger camera aperture to capture better captures and video in poorly lited situations, a camera with a way better resolution and a lot larger sensor.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s and the Huawei P30 count with really similar memory for applications, games, photos and videos, both of them have equal 128 GB internal memory. Huawei P30 features a bit superior battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 14 percent larger battery size.
Huawei P30 costs a lot more than Xiaomi Mi 5s, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a better phone for that extra money.
