LG V30S ThinQ has an overall score of 82.5, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s's 76.4 general score. Both devices in our current comparison include Android OS, but the LG V30S ThinQ has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version, so it counts with some additional features and better performance. The LG V30S ThinQ construction is newer and just a little bit thinner, but also a little heavier than the Xiaomi Mi 5s.
LG V30S ThinQ counts with a screen that is very similar to the display in Xiaomi Mi 5s, although the LG V30S ThinQ also has a bigger screen, a way better resolution of 1440 x 2880px and a better screen pixels density. The LG V30S ThinQ counts with a little faster processor than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a larger number of faster cores and a higher amount of RAM.
The LG V30S ThinQ features a lot bigger storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory, the LG V30S ThinQ also has a SD card slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. The LG V30S ThinQ has just a little better battery life than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 3 percent larger battery capacity.
LG V30S ThinQ counts with a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has a much smaller back-facing camera sensor which provides a way worse photo and video quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the LG V30S ThinQ also counts with a way better 16 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera and a larger camera aperture for better low-light photography.
Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Mi 5s. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the LG V30S ThinQ, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Mi 5s, giving up some features and specifications.
