Comparison review
The OnePlus 8 Pro is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, getting a overall score of 77.2 against 76.4. Although OnePlus 8 Pro is notably newer than Xiaomi Mi 5s, it's a little thicker and notably heavier. OnePlus 8 Pro counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a greater number of cores and a higher amount of RAM memory.
OnePlus 8 Pro counts with a better looking display than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a way higher resolution of 1440 x 3168, a little higher pixels amount in each display inch, a way bigger screen and a really brighter display. The OnePlus 8 Pro features a lot better camera than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has a lot larger back camera sensor which gives a much better photo and video quality, a much better 48 mega-pixels resolution camera, faster 60 frames per second video frame rates and a larger diafragm aperture to capture better low light images.
OnePlus 8 Pro's memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is just as good as Xiaomi Mi 5s's one, both have equal internal memory capacity. The OnePlus 8 Pro features a really longer battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has 4510mAh of battery capacity instead of 3200mAh.
Although OnePlus 8 Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Mi 5s. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the OnePlus 8 Pro, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Xiaomi Mi 5s, resigning a couple specifications.
