Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 5s is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A21, with a 76.4 score against 76.1. Xiaomi Mi 5s's body has the same thickness than Samsung Galaxy A21, but it's much lighter. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Mi 5s has 6.0 Marshmallow version while Samsung Galaxy A21 has Android 10, giving you a couple nice extra features and increased performance.
The Galaxy A21 counts with a bit superior processing unit than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has 1 GB less RAM, it also counts with a larger number of cores. Xiaomi Mi 5s has a more vivid screen than Galaxy A21, because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1080 x 1920px and a lot greater pixel number per inch of screen.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s takes a little bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy A21, because although it has a back camera with a much lower 12 mega-pixels resolution and a tinier aperture which is not nice for low light photography, it also counts with a lot higher video quality and a much larger back camera sensor capturing way higher quality videos and photos.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s has just a bit more storage for apps and games than Galaxy A21, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. Galaxy A21 has improved battery life than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 25% more battery size.
Although Xiaomi Mi 5s is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy A21, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy A21. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Galaxy A21, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most with your money.
