Comparison review
Galaxy A42 is much better than Xiaomi Mi 5s, getting an 87 score against 76.4. The Galaxy A42 design is a lot newer than Xiaomi Mi 5s's, but it's just a little bit thicker and noticeably heavier. Both of these phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy A42 has the older 11 version and Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
The Samsung Galaxy A42 counts with a bit more powerful processor than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the Samsung Galaxy A42 also has 4 more cpu cores (but slower). Xiaomi Mi 5s has a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy A42, because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher screen density and a higher 1080 x 1920 resolution.
