The Xiaomi Mi 5s has a global score of 76.4, which is slightly better than the Galaxy A6's 75.8 general score. The Xiaomi Mi 5s construction is somewhat lighter than the Galaxy A6, but it is just a little thicker and was released a little bit further than a year before. The Xiaomi Mi 5s features a little better hardware performance than Galaxy A6, because although it has an inferior number of cores , it also counts with 1 GB more RAM.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s features a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy A6, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1080 x 1920px and more pixels per inch of display. Xiaomi Mi 5s has a bit better camera than Galaxy A6, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low-light photography and video and a back-facing camera with a lot lower resolution, it also counts with a much higher (4K) video resolution and a bigger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Xiaomi Mi 5s has just a bit more memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy A6, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Mi 5s counts with a bit better battery life than Samsung Galaxy A6, because it has a 3200mAh battery size against 3000mAh.
Although Xiaomi Mi 5s is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy A6, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy A6. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy Galaxy A6, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
