Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy M40 is much better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, having an 85 score against 76.4. Both of these devices have Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy M40 has an older 10 version while Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Samsung Galaxy M40 is a way newer and a little thinner phone than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, although it is also somewhat heavier.
Xiaomi Mi 5s counts with a little more vivid display than Galaxy M40, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 1920px and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit greater number of pixels in each inch of screen. The Samsung Galaxy M40 counts with a bit better processor than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has 2 GB more RAM memory and 4 more CPU cores.
The Galaxy M40 captures better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor which provides a lower photo and video quality, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video quality, the Galaxy M40 also counts with a much better resolution back-facing camera and a larger camera aperture for better photography and video in low light environments.
The Galaxy M40 counts with a very superior storage to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Galaxy M40 also has an external SD slot that holds up to 512 GB. The Galaxy M40 has just a little better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 3500mAh battery capacity.
