Comparison review
Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a general score of 80.4, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s's 76.4 global score. The Galaxy Note Fan Edition design is newer and just a little thinner, but also heavier than Xiaomi Mi 5s. The Galaxy Note Fan Edition counts with a little faster processing unit than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Galaxy Note Fan Edition also has a larger number of cores (although slower).
Xiaomi Mi 5s features a slightly better screen than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, although it has a quite smaller screen, a quite worse number of pixels per display inch and a lot worse 1080 x 1920px resolution. The Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a little bit more storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s has just a bit better camera than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have a same resolution back camera, the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Mi 5s also counts with a larger sensor. Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition features a battery duration that is very similar to the battery life in Xiaomi Mi 5s.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Mi 5s. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xiaomi Mi 5s, giving up a couple specifications.
