Comparison review
Galaxy S7 edge has a general score of 78.1, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s's 76.4 overall score. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android OS, but Galaxy S7 edge has newer 8.0 Oreo version while Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Even though the Galaxy S7 edge and the Xiaomi Mi 5s were released only a couple months apart, Galaxy S7 edge's design is a bit thinner but a little bit heavier than the Xiaomi Mi 5s.
The Galaxy S7 edge and Xiaomi Mi 5s have really similar processors, they have 4 cores and 4 GB of RAM memory. Xiaomi Mi 5s has a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, although it has a lot worse resolution of 1080 x 1920, a just a bit inferior quantity of pixels per inch in the screen and a little bit smaller screen.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s has a bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage capacity. The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge features just a bit better battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 13 percent larger battery size.
Samsung Galaxy S7 edge features a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor which gives a lower photo and video quality, and they both have a same resolution back camera, the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge also counts with a larger aperture for better low light images and video.
Samsung Galaxy S7 edge is not only the best phones between the ones we are comparing, but it's also cheap compared to the Xiaomi Mi 5s, which makes it an easy decision.
