Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S8 has a global score of 81.7, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi 5s's score of 76.4. The Samsung Galaxy S8 body is just a little bit heavier but a little bit thinner than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and both were released with only 7 months difference. The Samsung Galaxy S8 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Samsung Galaxy S8 also has a larger number of faster cores.
Samsung Galaxy S8 features a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a much better resolution of 1440 x 2960px, a little larger display and a higher display pixel density. Galaxy S8 has just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor shooting lower quality videos and pictures, and they both have the same video frame rates, a 12 mega pixels camera in the back and the same (4K) video resolution, the Galaxy S8 also counts with a larger aperture for better low-light photos.
The Galaxy S8 counts with just a bit more memory to install applications and games than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 256 GB. The Xiaomi Mi 5s features a bit better battery life than Galaxy S8, because it has a 7% greater battery capacity.
The Galaxy S8 is not only the best phones in our current comparison, but it's also by far the cheapest one, making it an obvious call.
