The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is way better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, with a general score of 94.6 against 76.4. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a notably newer and thinner device than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, although it's also way heavier. These devices work with Android OS, but the Galaxy Z Fold 2 has the older 11 version and Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a higher number of cores and more RAM. Xiaomi Mi 5s counts with a slightly better display than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a way smaller screen and a way lower 1080 x 1920 resolution, it also counts with a quite greater pixel density.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same video definition and a same resolution back-facing camera, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has a much bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors, better 60 fps video frame rates and a bigger aperture to capture better photography and video in low-light environments.

If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi 5s, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your budget.
