Xperia XZ2 Premium is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, with a general score of 82.2 against 76.4. Xperia XZ2 Premium's construction is newer, but noticeably thicker and heavier than the Xiaomi Mi 5s. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a little bit better processing power than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a larger number of cores and a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a sharper display than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a bit larger screen, a brighter screen, a way better pixel number per screen inch and a way better resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same back-facing camera sensor size, the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a lot more mega pixels back-facing camera and a larger aperture to take better low-light photos and video.

Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Mi 5s. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Xperia XZ2 Premium, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Mi 5s, resigning some features and specifications.
