Xiaomi Mi 9 has a score of 83.2, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi 5s's 76.4 global score. The Xiaomi Mi 9 design is a lot newer and a little thinner, but somewhat heavier than Xiaomi Mi 5s. Xiaomi Mi 5s has just a bit better display than Xiaomi Mi 9, because although it has a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 1920px and a bit smaller screen, and they both have the same brightness, the Xiaomi Mi 5s also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch of screen.
Xiaomi Mi 9 has as much storage capacity for games and applications as the Xiaomi Mi 5s, both of them have exactly the same internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Mi 9 features a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has 4 more CPU cores and a greater amount of RAM memory.
