Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 5s has a score of 76.4, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi MIX's 76.2 overall score. These devices come with the same Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS (operating system), so you shouldn't perceive any difference regarding that. Even though the Xiaomi Mi 5s and Xiaomi Mi MIX were released with only a couple of months difference, the Xiaomi Mi 5s design is lighter but a little thicker.
Xiaomi Mi 5s has a little sharper display than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has a quite lower 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a quite more brightness and a little higher pixel density. The Xiaomi Mi MIX counts with as much memory for games and applications as Xiaomi Mi 5s, both of them have equal internal memory.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX's processor is very similar to the Xiaomi Mi 5s one, they have 4 cores and the same RAM memory amount. Xiaomi Mi MIX counts with a much better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 4400mAh battery size. The Xiaomi Mi MIX features a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has a way smaller camera sensor providing a much worse image quality, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, a F2 camera aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Mi MIX also counts with a camera in the back with way more mega pixels.
In addition to being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, Xiaomi Mi 5s is also by far the cheapest, making it an easy decision.
