Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, having an 81.2 score against 76.4. Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is much heavier than Xiaomi Mi 5s, it's just a little thinner and also newer. The Xiaomi Mi 5s features a bit better display than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a quite smaller display and a bit worse 1080 x 1920 resolution, it also counts with a quite greater quantity of pixels per inch of display.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has more RAM and a larger number of faster cores. The Xiaomi Mi 5s features just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a camera in the back with a 12 megapixels resolution, the same 30 fps video frame rates and a F2 aperture, the Xiaomi Mi 5s also has a way bigger sensor taking lot higher quality photos and videos.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features a much better storage capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has 256 GB internal storage. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has just a bit better battery life than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 3400mAh battery size.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Mi 5s. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Xiaomi Mi 5s, resigning some specs and features.
