Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has a global score of 77.2, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 5s's 76.4 global score. These phones have Android OS, but Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has the newer 8.1 Oreo version and Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow, so it offers a couple nice extra features. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro design is notably newer than the Xiaomi Mi 5s's, but it is incredibly heavier and just a little thicker.
Xiaomi Mi 5s counts with a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because although it has a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 1920px and a little smaller display, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch in the display and a little bit brighter display. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro's CPU is very similar to the Xiaomi Mi 5s one, although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro also has 4 more cores and 2 GB more RAM.
Xiaomi Mi 5s takes slightly better videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for capturing photographs or video in poorly lited situations, and they both have a same resolution camera in the back, the Xiaomi Mi 5s also counts with a larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a much higher (4K) video resolution.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has slightly more storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has improved battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
