The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, getting a general score of 76.6 against 76.4. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is a way newer phone than Xiaomi Mi 5s, but it's just a bit thicker and much heavier. Both of these devices work with Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has the older 10 version while Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s has a bit more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a little bit worse resolution of 1080 x 1920px and a way smaller display, it also counts with a quite higher pixels amount per display inch.
