Comparison review
The Xperia 5 is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 6, having a score of 81 against 76.5. Even though Xperia 5 is a little bit thicker than Xiaomi Mi 6, it's just a bit lighter and also incredibly newer. The Xiaomi Mi 6 features a bit more vivid screen than Sony Xperia 5, although it has a little bit smaller screen, a little lower pixel density and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 1920px.
Sony Xperia 5 has a much greater memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 6, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Sony Xperia 5 also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 512 GB. The Xperia 5 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Mi 6. Both of them have 6 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core processing unit.
The Xperia 5 takes slightly better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi 6, and although they both have the same resolution camera in the back, the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Xperia 5 also has a larger aperture and a bigger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Xiaomi Mi 6 has just a little better battery life than Xperia 5, because it has a 3350mAh battery capacity instead of 3140mAh.
Although Xperia 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Mi 6, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Mi 6. If you want to save some dollars, you can get Xiaomi Mi 6, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
