Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 6 is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, having a score of 76.5 against 76.4. The Xiaomi Mi 6 body is somewhat heavier but a bit thinner than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and both of them were only released 7 months apart. The Xiaomi Mi 6 features a bit more powerful processor than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a larger number of cores and more RAM.
Xiaomi Mi 5s features a screen that is very similar to Xiaomi Mi 6's screen, both of them have an equal 1080 x 1920 resolution, a greater pixels amount in each inch in the display, a same size screen and the same display brightness. The Xiaomi Mi 5s has a camera that's very similar to the camera in Xiaomi Mi 6, because although the Xiaomi Mi 5s has a tinier camera aperture which is not good for taking photos in low-light environments, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the same resolution back-facing camera and the same 3840x2160 video definition, it also counts with a much bigger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Xiaomi Mi 5s features as much storage capacity to install applications and games as the Xiaomi Mi 6, they have exactly the same internal memory capacity. The Xiaomi Mi 6 features a little longer battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has 3350mAh of battery capacity instead of 3200mAh.
Although Xiaomi Mi 6 is a better device, it costs more money than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Mi 5s. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi 5s, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your savings.
