Comparison review
Xperia 5 is a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, getting an 81 score against 77.7. Xperia 5 is a just a little thicker but just a little lighter cellphone than the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite. Xperia 5 counts with a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite. Both of them have a Octa-Core CPU and the same RAM amount.
Xperia 5 counts with a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a quite better 1080 x 2520px resolution and a bit better pixel density. Sony Xperia 5 has a much bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Sony Xperia 5 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a 12 mega-pixels back facing camera and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite also counts with a larger sensor providing a better image quality.
