Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 8 is slightly better than the Xperia XZ3, with an 83.3 score against 79.6. Both of these devices work with Android operating system, but Xiaomi Mi 8 has 10 version and Xperia XZ3 has Android 9.0 Pie version. The Xiaomi Mi 8 design is a lot thinner and just a little bit lighter than Xperia XZ3, even when both were released with only 4 months difference.
Xperia XZ3 counts with a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a quite smaller display and less bright screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2880px and a better quantity of pixels per screen inch. The Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a quite bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia XZ3, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 features a little bit better hardware performance than Sony Xperia XZ3, and although they both have 8 cores, the Xiaomi Mi 8 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. The Xiaomi Mi 8 has just a bit better battery lifetime than Xperia XZ3, because it has a 3400mAh battery capacity instead of 3330mAh.
The Xperia XZ3 takes a bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for shooting photos and video in low-light situations, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same video definition, the Xperia XZ3 also counts with a larger back-facing camera sensor which offers a better photo and video quality and a camera with a lot higher 19 MP resolution.
