The Galaxy A7 (2018) is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, with an 84.2 score against 81.4. Although it's the best phone in this review, the Galaxy A7 (2018) body is just a little bit heavier and just a bit thicker than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE. Xiaomi Mi 9 SE counts with a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018), and although they both have a display with the same size, the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE also has a just a little better pixels number in each screen inch and a slightly better 1080 x 2340 resolution.
Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has a bit superior CPU than Galaxy A7 (2018). Both have a Octa-Core processor and the same RAM memory amount. Xiaomi Mi 9 SE shoots much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018), because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not so good for taking images and/or video in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a way more MP camera in the back, a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a way bigger sensor capturing way higher quality videos and pictures.
Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) features a much greater memory to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) also has an external memory card slot that holds up to 512 GB. The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) has just a little better battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because it has a 7% bigger battery size.
