IPhone 8 has a global score of 85, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 9's global score of 83.2. IPhone 8's body is just a bit thinner and somewhat lighter than Xiaomi Mi 9, although it was released about 18 months before. Xiaomi Mi 9 has just a bit better looking screen than iPhone 8, because although it has less bright screen, it also counts with a much larger screen, a lot higher 1080 x 2340 resolution and a bit better screen density.
Apple iPhone 8 has just a little better processing power than Xiaomi Mi 9, because although it has 2 lesser and slower CPU cores and less RAM, it also counts with a 64-bit processor. The Xiaomi Mi 9 captures much clearer photos and videos than iPhone 8, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor and a way more megapixels camera.
IPhone 8 has a way bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Mi 9 features a much better battery life than iPhone 8, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity instead of 1821mAh.
