Comparison review
LG V50 ThinQ is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi 9, getting an 83.7 score against 83.2. Despite being the best in this comparison, it must be noted that it's also a a little bit heavier and a little thicker phone. LG V50 ThinQ features just a bit better screen than Xiaomi Mi 9, and although they both have a display of the same size, the LG V50 ThinQ also has a greater display density and a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels.
The LG V50 ThinQ features a processor that is just as good as the Xiaomi Mi 9 one, both of them have 8 cores and 6 GB of RAM. LG V50 ThinQ has a much bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 9, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the LG V50 ThinQ also has a SD card slot that holds up to 1,95 TB.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 counts with a better camera than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for low-light photography, and they both have the same 60 frames per second video frame rates and the same video quality, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also counts with a lot higher resolution back camera and a lot larger back camera sensor shooting way higher quality videos and photographs.
The LG V50 ThinQ has longer battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3300mAh.
