Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 9 is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A12, getting a general score of 83.2 against 80.3. Even though Xiaomi Mi 9 is older than Samsung Galaxy A12, it's body is lighter and thinner. Xiaomi Mi 9 has a better looking display than Galaxy A12, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better display pixels density and a lot better 1080 x 2340 resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy A12 features a much greater memory to install applications and games than Xiaomi Mi 9, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD extension slot that holds up to 1 TB. Xiaomi Mi 9 has a bit better processing power than Galaxy A12, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has 2 GB more RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy A12 features a really longer battery life than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity. Xiaomi Mi 9 shoots much better videos and photos than Galaxy A12, and although they both have a same resolution back-facing camera, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a larger aperture to take better low light photos and videos.
