Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note9 is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi 9, with an 87.1 score against 83.2. Although it's the best in this review, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 design is thicker and heavier than the Xiaomi Mi 9. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi 9, and although they both have a same size display, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has a higher 1440 x 2960 resolution and a higher pixel number per display inch.
Galaxy Note9 counts with much more memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 9, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the Galaxy Note9 also has a SD card slot that admits up to 512 GB. The Galaxy Note9 and Xiaomi Mi 9 both feature very similar processors, they have the same number of cores and 6 GB of RAM memory.
Xiaomi Mi 9 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for low-light captures and video, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also counts with a camera in the back with a much better resolution and a way bigger sensor which gives a much better image and video quality.
The Galaxy Note9 has greater battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has a 21% greater battery size.
