Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 9T is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi 5s, getting an 82.2 score against 76.4. Both of these phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Mi 9T has the older 10 version while Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Xiaomi Mi 9T body is notably newer, but just a bit thicker and extremely heavier than Xiaomi Mi 5s.
The Xiaomi Mi 9T features a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a larger amount of RAM and a larger number of cores (although slower). Xiaomi Mi 5s counts with a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi 9T, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a bit worse 1080 x 1920px resolution, it also counts with a just a bit higher display pixel density and more screen brightness.
The Xiaomi Mi 9T features a much better camera than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Xiaomi Mi 9T also has a back facing camera with a much better resolution, a larger back camera sensor providing a higher image quality and a bigger aperture for better captures in poorly lited environments.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s features as much storage capacity to install games and applications as the Xiaomi Mi 9T one, they have exactly the same internal memory. The Xiaomi Mi 9T counts with greater battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3200mAh.
