The iPhone 7 Plus is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, with a global score of 83.8 against 77.5. IPhone 7 Plus is a somewhat lighter and a little bit thinner phone than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, even when both were only released with a couple months difference. Apple iPhone 7 Plus counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, although it has a smaller amount of RAM and less cpu cores.
Apple iPhone 7 Plus has a much better display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have an equal 1080 x 1920 resolution, the Apple iPhone 7 Plus also counts with a little bit better pixel quantity in each inch of screen. IPhone 7 Plus has just a bit more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage.
IPhone 7 Plus takes a little bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a tinier sensor taking lower quality videos and photographs, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the same video quality and the same resolution back-facing camera, the iPhone 7 Plus also counts with a larger diafragm aperture to take better photos and videos in low-light environments.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a much better battery performance than iPhone 7 Plus, because it has 5300mAh of battery capacity.
Although iPhone 7 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Mi Max 2. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the iPhone 7 Plus, else you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, giving up a couple specs and features.
