Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is a little bit better than the Asus ZenFone AR, with a 77.5 score against 77.4. Even though Xiaomi Mi Max 2 and the Asus ZenFone AR were only released with a couple of months difference, Xiaomi Mi Max 2's body is somewhat thinner but heavier. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a bit superior CPU than Asus ZenFone AR, because although it has less RAM memory, it also counts with a higher number of cores.
The Asus ZenFone AR has a much better display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a greater pixel density. The Asus ZenFone AR counts with a way bigger memory for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Asus ZenFone AR also has a SD memory slot that holds up to 1,95 TB.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a way better battery duration than Asus ZenFone AR, because it has a 61% larger battery capacity. The Asus ZenFone AR captures a bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has worse video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Asus ZenFone AR also counts with a bigger camera aperture, a bigger back-facing camera sensor and a way more mega pixels camera.
