Comparison review
The Google Nexus 6P has a general score of 80.3, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi Max 2's score of 77.5. Despite of the fact that the Google Nexus 6P is older than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, it's construction is lighter and just a bit thinner. Google Nexus 6P has a better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher pixel density and a better 1440 x 2560 resolution.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 and the Google Nexus 6P feature extremely similar processing units, and although the Google Nexus 6P has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Google Nexus 6P shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Google Nexus 6P also has a camera in the back with more megapixels, a bigger camera aperture to take better low light photography and videos and a lot bigger camera sensor which provides a way higher image and video quality.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a much better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Google Nexus 6P, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 128 GB. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a superior battery duration than Google Nexus 6P, because it has a 5300mAh battery capacity against 3450mAh.
Although Google Nexus 6P is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Mi Max 2. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Google Nexus 6P, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, giving up a couple features and specifications.
