Comparison review
The Google Pixel XL is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, getting an 81.3 score against 77.5. The Google Pixel XL body is thicker but notably lighter than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and both of them were released only a couple months apart. Google Pixel XL has a better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot greater pixel quantity per inch in the display and a higher 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a much better storage capacity to store more apps and games than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a bit better hardware performance than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has 4 more cores (although slower).
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a way better battery life than Google Pixel XL, because it has a 54% bigger battery size. The Google Pixel XL features a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video resolution, the Google Pixel XL also has a much bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a larger aperture and a camera with more megapixels.
Although Google Pixel XL is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Mi Max 2. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Google Pixel XL, else you can save some money and buy the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, giving up some features and specifications.
