Comparison review
The Huawei P20 has a global score of 78.1, which is a bit better than Xiaomi Mi Max 2's score of 77.5. Huawei P20's design has the same thickness than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, but it is incredibly lighter. The Huawei P20 has a little bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a bit better screen density and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2244.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a much better memory capacity to install games and applications than Huawei P20, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB. Huawei P20 has a bit superior processor than Xiaomi Mi Max 2. They have the same RAM memory amount and 8 processing cores.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a really longer battery performance than Huawei P20, because it has a 56 percent more battery size. The Huawei P20 counts with just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the same video frame rates and a same resolution back facing camera, the Huawei P20 also has a lot larger back-facing camera sensor which provides a way higher image and video quality and a larger aperture to take better images and video in low-light situations.
Even being the best phone of the ones we are comparing here, Huawei P20 is also cheaper than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, which makes this phone a simple decision.
