Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a score of 77.5, which is slightly better than OnePlus 8's general score of 76. Xiaomi Mi Max 2's design is just a little bit thinner than the OnePlus 8, although it's somewhat heavier and was released many years before. OnePlus 8 features a little better processing power than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 8 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
OnePlus 8 counts with a brighter screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because it has a quite bigger display, a quite better 1080 x 2400 resolution and a little better display density. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a very superior storage capacity to install games and applications than OnePlus 8, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 128 GB.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has greater battery life than OnePlus 8, because it has a 5300mAh battery size. The OnePlus 8 has a much better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the OnePlus 8 also has a bigger aperture, a much more megapixels back facing camera, faster video frame rates and a much bigger sensor which gives a way higher image and video quality.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is not only the best devices of the ones we compare here, but it's also the cheapest, making this phone an easy choice.
