Comparison review
Galaxy M31s is better than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, getting an 88 score against 77.5. Even though Galaxy M31s is somewhat thicker than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, it's just a little lighter and also much newer. Galaxy M31s counts with a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy M31s also has more RAM.
Galaxy M31s counts with a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because it has a quite better 1080 x 2400px resolution, a little bigger display and a bit better pixel density. Samsung Galaxy M31s has a greater storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy M31s also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
Samsung Galaxy M31s captures a lot better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Samsung Galaxy M31s also has a lot bigger sensor capturing much higher quality videos and pictures, a larger aperture for better low-light photos and videos and a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy M31s has just a bit better battery life than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because it has a 13% greater battery capacity.
