Galaxy Note9 has a score of 87.1, which is better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2's 77.5 global score. The Galaxy Note9 is a newer and a little bit lighter cellphone than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, although it's thicker. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 features a much better screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have a same size display, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has a way better 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution and a greater count of pixels per inch in the display.
Galaxy Note9 features a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy Note9 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Galaxy Note9 features more storage capacity to install applications and games than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Note9 also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 512 GB.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because it has a 5300mAh battery capacity. The Galaxy Note9 takes a bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same video resolution and a 12 megapixels back camera, the Galaxy Note9 also has a larger sensor which gives a higher image and video quality, better 60 frames per second video frame rate and a way bigger aperture for better images and video in low light environments.
The Samsung Galaxy Note9 is way more expensive than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
