Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 edge+ has a score of 79.3, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2's 77.5 overall score. Even though the Galaxy S6 edge+ is older than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, it's design is a lot lighter and a little bit thinner. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a little faster CPU than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has a larger number of cores.
Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has a much more vibrant display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and more pixels per screen inch. Galaxy S6 edge+ captures clearer videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Galaxy S6 edge+ also has a larger back-facing camera sensor taking higher quality photographs and videos, a larger camera aperture to take better images in low light environments and a camera with way more MP.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a much better memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 128 GB and 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a way better battery lifetime than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a 5300mAh battery capacity.
Although Galaxy S6 edge+ is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Mi Max 2. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy S6 edge+, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, giving up a couple features and specifications.
