Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a general score of 87.1, which is better than Xiaomi Mi Max 3's overall score of 74.9. Although the Samsung Galaxy Note9 and the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 were only released with a couple of months difference, Samsung Galaxy Note9's design is a bit lighter but thicker than the Xiaomi Mi Max 3.
The Samsung Galaxy Note9 features a brighter display than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2960 resolution and a better amount of pixels per screen inch. Samsung Galaxy Note9 features a bit better CPU than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has a larger amount of RAM.
Samsung Galaxy Note9 counts with a way bigger memory for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB and 64 GB more internal storage. The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has a way better battery lifetime than Galaxy Note9, because it has a 38% bigger battery size.
The Samsung Galaxy Note9 takes slightly better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and although they both have the same video resolution, a 0.39 inches sensor and a same resolution camera in the back, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has better 60 fps video frame rates and a lot larger camera aperture to capture better photos and video in poorly lited situations.
