Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZ2 has an overall score of 79.1, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 3's 74.9 score. The Sony Xperia XZ2 design is lighter but much thicker than the Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and both were released only a couple of months apart. The Xperia XZ2 features a brighter screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels, the Xperia XZ2 also counts with a just a bit greater pixels quantity per screen inch.
Sony Xperia XZ2 has just a bit more memory for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Sony Xperia XZ2 also has an external SD slot that admits up to 400 GB. Sony Xperia XZ2 features just a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 3. They have a 4 GB RAM memory and 8 cpu cores.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 takes better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 3, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Sony Xperia XZ2 also counts with faster video frame rate, a much more MP back camera and a bigger back camera sensor providing a higher image quality.
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 counts with a much better battery performance than Sony Xperia XZ2, because it has a 5500mAh battery size against 3180mAh.
