Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a score of 81.7, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi Max's 77.5 global score. Although Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is older and just a bit thicker than the Xiaomi Mi Max, it's design is still lighter. Galaxy Note Edge features a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has less RAM and 4 lesser processing cores (although they are faster), it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit.
Galaxy Note Edge has a much sharper display than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and much more pixels per screen inch. Xiaomi Mi Max has a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB and more internal storage capacity.
The Galaxy Note Edge captures a little bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max, although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not good for low light photography and videos, they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the same resolution back camera and the same video frame rates.
Xiaomi Mi Max counts with a superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because it has 4850mAh of battery capacity.
