Comparison review
Sony Xperia XZ2 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi Max, getting a score of 79.1 against 77.5. The Sony Xperia XZ2 is a newer and a little lighter phone than the Xiaomi Mi Max, but it is a lot thicker. The Xperia XZ2 counts with a much better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2160 and a bit higher amount of pixels per screen inch.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 has a bit superior CPU than Xiaomi Mi Max. Both of them have a 4 GB RAM and a Octa-Core processor. Xiaomi Mi Max has a bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Sony Xperia XZ2, because although it has an external SD slot that supports 144 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB more internal storage capacity.
Xiaomi Mi Max features a really longer battery performance than Sony Xperia XZ2, because it has a 4850mAh battery capacity. The Xperia XZ2 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have a F2 camera aperture and the same (4K) video quality, the Xperia XZ2 also has a camera in the back with a higher resolution and higher 60 frames per second video frame rate.
